We are Bill and Sharon, both retired. I am an avid amateur nature photographer, and enjoy snow skiing and inline skating. Sharon is a very accomplished scrapbooker and teaches card making classes at a local store. I volunteer as the editor of the newsletter for the Wildlife Rescue League in Fairfax VA, as well as a transporter for injured wildlife.
This will be our fourth river cruise and third with Viking Cruise Line. We have also sailed several ocean cruises all with Holland America, as well as two bus tours with Your Man Tours out of California. We enjoy traveling and seeing other parts of the world.
Our last river cruise was the Paris to Normandy Beaches with Viking which we enjoyed very much. We had a fabulous time, and met some delightful people on the cruise. So far, through the Vikings facebook page and Cruise Critic website, we have "met" about six other couples that will be on this cruise, and we look forward to meeting them in person.
As we get closer, I will continue to post updates, and while cruising will post a few photos of the various towns that we visit.
